I don’t know about you but I’m kind of obsessed with natural remedies! Especially if they double as pampering self care products! Since I was getting stocked up anyway I though, “why not share?” These are super easy recipes and aside from set times you can have them done in less than 15 minutes! They even make incredible inexpensive gifts! What’s not to love!
3 Ingredient Body Butter
Body butter is thick and luxurious! It’s provides a great barrier for your skin during these dry winter months and in dry climates! It’s also SUPER easy to make! All you need is coconut oil, shae butter, cacoa butter and, if you like, your favorite essential oils! I love using eucalyptus and tea tree at this time of year to help relieve congestion and cold symptoms!
In this video I also discuss Magnesium Oil (because I add this to my body butter as well). So, I thought I’d let you know that you can spray with it to help your body absorb magnesium which is helps to decrease stress and anxiety and also helps you get quality sleep. It can also be spritzed in your hair and you can scrunch it up to create beachy waves. It’s great all around and SO simple!
By the way… when you get to this part, put it in the fridge instead of the freezer! LOL!
3 Ingredient Bath Bombs
These are a family favorite! My kids love bath bombs and my husband likes to toss them into his morning shower. They dissolve and fill the air with eucalyptus and tea tree which is energizing and clears congestion. It’s a great wake up, especially at this time of year! Of course you can add any essential oils you like or non at all! They contain only 3 ingredients, baking soda, citric acid, and liquid soap (plus any essential oils you like). Plus, they’re fast and easy to make and you can even press them into silicone molds or color them to make them fancy.
